This vintage blue sweatshirt gives the perfect contrast to the dark wash overalls that I'm wearing. Original pair of overalls found here, similar style here.



As you can tell, I've been absolutely obsessed with wearing this necklace. With the addition of a baseball/dad hat from American Apparel, the accessories give my outfit a similar vibe to how my mom dressed me as a five-year-old.
  

 Since yellow and blue is one of my all-time favorite combinations to wear, I added my trusty Fjallraven Kanken backpack (warm yellow color) to this look. If you've considered buying one of these backpacks, I would definitely recommend you do it because this bag has no holes and has lasted me throughout one trip to Canada, adventures to the beach, and four years of high school. However, be wary when you take this bag outdoors because it can stain easily.

Thank you to Kacee for modeling In part one of the photo shoot here , the red wall was one of my favorite places to shoot at because of how lucky we were to have wonderful lighting that day.  However, I did my best to control the harsh lighting from the mid-afternoon sun and had to mess around while on manual settings on my camera. Here are some clips from my journal from this + last week. (plus some selfies,  this is my diary, right? ) I hope that you find some inspiration from this and try journaling yourself in the not-so-near future ! :) My mind always goes on these weird trails when I'm tired in the evening towards the end of the night, so I thought I would include these thought trails, once again, in a blog post.  (hope that my grammar isn't too hard to understand b/c I usually write freely in my journal.) Sometimes photoshoots are a little too much work and mean dedicating my entire Saturday morning taking pictures for my  Androgynous Look of the Week  series. Setting up a tripod, taking the pictures by myself with the timer function,  getting the pictures taken at the right time when the lighting is not too light or dark —the list goes on and on. In my opinion, planning outfits beforehand limits how much I share with you guys the clothes that I wear on a daily basis.
