ANDROGYNOUS STYLE OF THE WEEK
Part 9
I've discovered that dressing androgynous is the best way to express myself, and I hope that every person who reads these Androgynous Style of the Week posts are able to find some inspiration from seeing what I may wear on a daily basis. If you are able to purchase similar pieces at Goodwill or Savers, or find some inspiration from what I wear, you can have your own staples when you want to look put-together, but don't have the time or effort to do so.
Plaid pants have been a HUGE staple trend this past year and a half. Going along with the theme of 90's inspired outfits from the movie Clueless, this white shirt and plaid pant combo serves you a modern, but casual twist on an outfit that you can rock on an everyday basis. I actually wore this exact outfit on the first day of school in 2018.

Throwing over this blue Champion hoodie keeps me especially comfy when I'm taking a test, chatting with friends, or writing essays at school. Without any accessories in this look, I tied a bow with the drawstring in the hood to add a little "something-something." A little bow never hurt anybody! Keep it spicy! Put on some white sneakers, pop in some headphones in your ears, and truly feel yourself stomping around listening to Ctrl by SZA.

                                                                 more throwback photos from last August. Thank you to Kacee for modeling In part one of the photo shoot here , the red wall was one of my favorite places to shoot at because of how lucky we were to have wonderful lighting that day.  However, I did my best to control the harsh lighting from the mid-afternoon sun and had to mess around while on manual settings on my camera. A middle-aged man in the first location told us that we couldn't be at hanging out around these stairs, but we got enough shots in time to move on to the next location. Here are some clips from my journal from this + last week. (plus some selfies,  this is my diary, right? ) I hope that you find some inspiration from this and try journaling yourself in the not-so-near future ! :) My mind always goes on these weird trails when I'm tired in the evening towards the end of the night, so I thought I would include these thought trails, once again, in a blog post.  (hope that my grammar isn't too hard to understand b/c I usually write freely in my journal.) style Photos taken by me using my phone camera: TIM'S MIRROR SELFIES This is another new segment on my blog which I call "Tim's Mirror Selfies." Sometimes photoshoots are a little too much work and mean dedicating my entire Saturday morning taking pictures for my  Androgynous Look of the Week  series. Setting up a tripod, taking the pictures by myself with the timer function,  getting the pictures taken at the right time when the lighting is not too light or dark —the list goes on and on. In my opinion, planning outfits beforehand limits how much I share with you guys the clothes that I wear on a daily basis. The time when I'm rushing out of the door to get ready for school or over the weekend shows my true, authentic style when I don't have any time to think to myself the intricate details of each outfit.
