The necklace was a gift from my uncle with a character symbolizing longevity in Chinese. This accessory draws attention to your chest and balances out the naked space revealed by the overalls. These types of sheer button ups are essential in helping to look polished without getting too sweaty under the summer sun. By now, you should know that I pair my shark necklace with almost every single outfit that I wear.  This accessory can spice up  any plain outfit.       Although I rarely wear shoes in my pictures, one new element that I would like to add to my blog posts is an example of shoes that I would have paired with the outfit but can't afford to buy. Also, I come from an Asian household and live in Hawaii and never wear my shoes inside the house (where I take my outfit pictures). As you can tell, I've been absolutely obsessed with wearing this necklace. With the addition of a baseball/dad hat from American Apparel, the accessories give my outfit a similar vibe to how my mom dressed me as a five-year-old.       Since yellow and blue is one of my all-time favorite combinations to wear, I added my trusty Fjallraven Kanken backpack (warm yellow color) to this look.
