ANDROGYNOUS STYLE OF THE WEEK Part 11

I've discovered that dressing androgynously is the best way to express myself, and I hope that every person who reads these Androgynous Style of the Week posts are able to find some inspiration from seeing what I may wear on a daily basis. If you are able to purchase similar pieces at Goodwill or Savers or find some inspiration from what I wear, you can have your own staples when you want to look put-together, but don't have the time or effort to do so.

Recently, I haven't been very inspired to post on this blog; I feel as though all my posts have had the same consistency. Sometimes, the best way to go about with posting on this blog is by putting up a blurb of jumbled up words so I can feel the satisfaction of putting something up every week.

I GENUINELY WANT TO and need to find balance while putting out consistent content that I'm proud of showing to you guys, my audience, and my dear readers. Since I started this blog on Christmas Day in 2014, there has been no turning back with the growth I have made within myself and the progress made on this website.

I need to find pride in expressing myself and enjoying blogging without getting too caught up in the technical aspects of it. I want to do, create, but in a more minimal, efficient, and beautiful manner.

Blogging started off for me as a way to get myself out there. However, nomwonton.blogspot.com has been a place where I have felt the most comfortable expressing myself, ideas, and opinions. Hopefully, if I obtain the manifesting powers that the soulful artist Kehlani has, I'll be able to reach out to more of you guys out there.

I want to create a space where boys, teenagers, and people like me can see how others choose to style themselves expressively. We are beings of water, fluid, and ready to bring new life into the situations that we encounter:

These have been some of the thoughts that have been on my mind lately.

  • With this outfit, I wanted to channel my 9-5 work dad vibes.
  • The high waist of these vintage GUESS jeans helps to keep the outfit polished without looking too sophisticated.
  • With this five-panel hat from Forever 21, I can keep my bangs out of my face while also complimenting the teal of the aloha shirt with a pop of brown suede.
  • Finally, the shark necklace peeking out from under my collar adds a finishing compliment to the Hawaiian style of the whole look.

Here's to new beginnings and to future looks.
