June 15 - A Story
june thunderstorms - a story
Texting his friends, planning what to do, where to go.
The best memories of my summer start here.
Although staying inside his house all day sounds warm and nice and pleasing, a simple five minute conversation in his mind stating the pros of being a productive piece of a human boy helps him decide that he wants to go out.
Walking around with those that have the same sense of humor as him and just appreciating the beauty around him are what he loves about his life. Taking photos is his hobby.
This hobby may not take him far but eventually he will learn to realize that a supportive environment of family and friends will get him where he wants to be; his sheer lack of talent and him holding on to the luck that barely seems to be present will hopefully get him there also.
There's something so intense, but relaxing when the environment around him is filled with the smell of mountain rain and mildew along with the sound of sexy windshield wipers, honking horns, laughter, and the sight of headlights brushing the winding paths of a long road.
There's something so satisfying hearing the click of the shutter in a camera. Later on, he shares the photos that he took with his friends who share the same passions of becoming better versions of themselves everyday.
Good vibes listening to a specific song by Daniel Caesar and Kali Uchis always cultivates a good environment where he can sing and think about all the ways each lyric relates to the many parts of his somewhat complicated, teenage life.
Choosing to put himself outside what he finds comfortable to cross that line where this so-called "comfort zone" lies is a great way to give him the right space to be himself and learn the happy ways of the world.
Ice cream is what he needs to survive throughout his teenage life, but good friends and good vibes are just as essential, also.
A long shower, eating fried rice, looking back at his day, being grateful for the life he's given. Closing his eyes with a smile on his mind, he drifts to a long, ten hour sleep.
