June 20 - Pictures

It seems as though my approximately first month of summer break has passed by so quickly. It definitely has had its ups and downs; I'm not even sure how I balance all my personal problems with all of the responsibilities that I have to do during school.???

Reading other blog posts, such as this post on The Messy Heads, an interview of Lorde on her Melodrama album on a radio show, along with submitting my own article on Emma Mercury of The Messy Heads has shown me that I should do more to document my life; as in pictures, journaling, travelling and finding a home in my on body and own self.

Emma says something in the article along the lines of home is in three places: yourself, someone you know, and someplace that you cherish. However, although I love my physical shelter of home very dearly, I still happen to lack finding a home in myself and have found this safe place of what "home" means in my closest friends.

Hanging out with my friends and simply being in their presence has made me realize what life is truly living for. My best friends are people who understand me and love my unconditionally, and I feel the same towards them also.

All sappiness aside, this post has been dedicated to the few times I have gone out over this first month of summer break, as I've said previously, and the meaning of soaking up the days of my last summer before graduating high school. Being a teenager with no responsibilities will soon come to an end and then college will roll around, I'll worry about "entering the real world" (as the adults in my life have said), etc. I'm trying to make the most of every day by being productive and doing more of the things that make me happy.

Done rambling, here are the pictures.
